Big Blind Test best Serbian wines in 2012. in organization of the online magazine Vino.rs ended in Zira Hotel Belgrade on Monday 2nd December.
This is the second year in a row that the Big Blind Test organize the best Serbian wines, in which the most authoritative national experts assess the quality of local wines exclusively from a sample in a glass, without any information about the wine that ages tested except harvest.
Wines are tested under the rules of the OIV (International Organisation of Vine and Wine) on a scale up to 100 points.
The general conclusion is that in the past year offer local wines larger and more diverse, and that the trend of improving the quality of Serbian wines continues.

TOURIST PRISM for Zira Hotel Belgrade

The accolade, which honours hospitality excellence, is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor, and is extended to qualifying businesses worldwide. Approximately 10 percent of accommodations listed on TripAdvisor receive this prestigious award.
To qualify for the Certificate of Excellence, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor. Additional criteria include the volume of reviews received within the last 12 months.

On Saturday at Zira hotel in Belgrade was the fourth Wine Style Wine Fair. 3.000 guests had the opportunity to try 170 premium wines from around the world. 69 Wineries presented their wines, which inculuded many famous wineries in the region of former Yugoslavia, as well as the largest importers of wine in Serbia. "HOTEL ZIRA" wins "TOURIST FLOWER"

The annual award ceremony "Tourist Flower" (recognition for the development of tourism in Serbia) was organized for the fifteenth time in the premises of the Tourist Organization of Serbia. Zira Hotel won the award for the best hotel in Serbia.
Special Jury and the board of the Tourist Organization of Serbia chose Hotel Zira for this prestigious award in the field of services, but also for tourism development and promotion of touristic offer and the capacity of Serbia.
From the day it was opened, Zira Hotel was established as a hotel that operates in accordance with international standards. Introduction of the latest standards in business and constant improvement and training of employees at the facility is a must. Zira is one of the few hotels in Serbia that was constructed as an object where the movement and placement of persons with special needs is fully facilitated.
